This record is a collection of hunting and outdoor related songs that evolved out of Waddell, Akins and Davidson’s love for hunting and the outdoors. Michael Waddell, one of the most successful hunters and outdoorsmen in the industry, is the host of “Realtree Road Trips” and co-host of the popular Outdoors Channel hunting show, “Bone Collector."
Rhett Akins is an American country singer and songwriter. His first album, A Thousand Memories, released in 1995 on Decca Records spawned his first No. 1 single, a song he co-wrote entitled “That Ain’t My Truck.” Recently, Akins has had multiple cuts and singles by country artists including: Brooks & Dunn, Blake Shelton, Rodney Atkins, Luke Bryan, Montgomery Gentry and many more. Dallas Davidson is an award-winning American country music songwriter. His credits include five No. 1 hits for “Rain is a Good Thing” recorded by Luke Bryan, “That’s How Country Boys Roll” by Billy Currington, “Gimmie That Girl” by Joe Nichols, “All About Tonight” by Blake Shelton and “Start A Band,” by Brad Paisley and Keith Urban.” He also had two No. 2 hits for Trace Adkins’ “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk” and Brooks & Dunn’s “Put A Girl In It.”
