John Rich, GRAMMY nominated performer, songwriter and producer and one half of the multi-platinum hit duo Big & Rich, will be featured in the new CW primetime music competition series The Next: Fame Is At Your Doorstep, premiering this Thursday, August 16, at 9:00pm EST/PST.
Jana Kramer, country’s favorite newcomer, has been signed by Nationwide Insurance to sing the company’s well-known “On Your Side” commercial jingle. Kramer’s voice will be featured in new television advertisements Nationwide launched as part of its integrated national marketing campaign, Join the Nation. The commercials debuted during the opening ceremonies of the 2012 Olympics and will continue to air nationally throughout the next year.
Gloriana’s second studio album A Thousand Miles Left Behind debuts at #2 on the Billboard Country Album Chart and at #10 on Billboard’s Top 200. The album has received critical praise for the growth the band displays on the 11 tracks, especially on their current single “(Kissed You) Good Night,” which is at #2 on the Billboard Country Singles Chart. The trio is currently out on the road performing headlining shows across the country in support of the new album.
Reigning ACM and CMA Male Vocalist of the year, Blake Shelton is getting ready to release his first Christmas album, Cheers It’s Christmas on October 2, 2012 on Warner Bros. Records. The album will feature several duet performances including fellow The Voice advisor Michael Bublé, long-time friend, Reba and a very special duet with his mother, Dorothy Shackleford. The album includes classic Christmas songs that have touched Blake over the years. Many of the tracks were also recorded at the famous Capitol Studios with full orchestral accompaniment.
Atlantic recording artist Hunter Hayes was awarded the “Choice Male Country Artist” Award last night at the Teen Choice Awards, marking his first ever award win. “This is unbelievable,” said Hayes. He added, “So stoked to win my first award and to know it was FAN voted makes it so much more awesome!! The fans are awesome. Thank you guys! Thank you so much! WE DID IT!!!”
Hayes’ Top 20 Hit “Wanted,” the latest single off of his debut album Hunter Hayes, was recently certified Gold by the RIAA. Hayes will perform “Wanted” tomorrow on The Talk on CBS at 2 PM ET / 1 PM PT/CT.

Nashville trio THE FARM is gearing up to release their self-titled debut July 17, 2012 via All In Records / Elektra Nashville. The 11-track album, featuring their hit single, "Home Sweet Home," was co-produced by Farmer Nick Hoffman with acclaimed songwriter, Danny Myrick. “Home Sweet Home," recently performed by the band on the 2012 CMT Music Awards, was written by THE FARM and their co-producer, Myrick. The debut single is currently No. 20 on the charts and climbing.
