BLAKE SHELTON ENTERTAINS A SOLD-OUT CROWD AT FIRST HEADLINING SHOW IN NASHVILLE AT THE HISTORIC RYMAN AUDITORIUM

Nashville – March 19, 2010 - Academy Of Country Music Award Nominee Blake Shelton put on a high-energy, entertaining show, to a sold-out crowd at the historic Ryman Auditorium on Thursday night in Nashville, Tenn. Shelton performed fan favorites and new songs from his recently released album, Hillbilly Bone, including the No. 1 title track from the album and sixth No. 1 for Shelton, featuring longtime friend Trace Adkins. The fans were in a frenzy when surprise guest Adkins took the stage to perform the smash hit, and it only escalated when singing along to the incredibly catching chorus, “you can’t help, but hollerin’ yee haw.” Shelton also performed his first multi-week No. 1 single “Austin,” and his multi-week No 1 singles, “The Baby.” “Some Beach,” “She Wouldn’t Be Gone,” and “Home” among others. He also performed his next single, “It’s All About Tonight,” which will be featured on his next release.

“I’m not going to lie to you, well …. I would lie to you,” Shelton said with a smirk. “But, I’m not lying about this ….I’m nervous as crap up here. I didn’t know if people would come out and see me, but I’m sure as hell glad you did.”

In addition to the comedic, sing-along duet with Adkins, the new album includes six new tracks from Shelton. Hillbilly Bone is produced by Scott Hendricks. The album debuted at No. 3 on Billboard's Top 200 chart, making it last week's highest charting debut album and his highest debut of his career on the all-genre chart. Cooking With Grace: A Cookbook From Point Of Grace With Julie Adkison Released On Same Day As Album

Records Artists and Platinum-Selling Group Point Of Grace (Shelley Breen, Leigh Cappillino, Denise Jones) are letting their fans know there is “No Changin’ Us” with their eighth studio album release of the same name. No Changin’ Us was released on Tuesday, March 9 to all digital and physical retailers and is the group’s first studio album release in more than three years.
