“We wrote this song for all those who were spending all their money trying to move on from their exes,” says Snell. “I had this title on my phone for a while and it just spoke to me. for all the times that you wish you could send the bill for their emotional damages!“
With Muddy Water Rockstar, Austin Snell continues to push the boundaries of the country genre, blending grunge influences with his country roots. The EP is another milestone in an already exciting year for Snell. He recently announced his first headlining dates and later this month, he will open a show for Nickelback, one of the bands whose influence led him to create his own sound. Last month he released a three-song project titled “Songs From My Phone.” In February, he was named the latest and first country artist to be selected as a part of SiriusXM’s Artist Accelerator program and was also a “Highway Find” via SiriusXM’s The Highway.
