Warner Music Nashville’s skyrocketing young star and resident sad girl songstress Avery Anna will release her newest track “Worst In Me” this Friday, August 4. Avery first shared the song, which she penned alongside Ava Suppelsa and Danielle Blakey, on TikTok in January. Since then, clips of “Worst In Me” have earned a combined 3.5 million views from fans who resonate with the message.
"Writing ‘Worst In Me’ was a very emotional experience for me,” Avery shared. “It’s a song about what it’s like to constantly lift somebody up that only brings you down, and the emotional toll it takes on you."
Avery will perform “Worst In Me” for fans around the world as she embarks upon a European tour alongside BRELAND starting at the end of the month. The journey will take Avery across Germany, Sweden, Denmark, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. She’ll return stateside for a run with Jordan Davis in October, followed by dates with Cole Swindell.
“Worst In Me” is the second of two new songs following the launch of her debut project, Mood Swings, in 2022 (LISTEN HERE). Released in April, “Self Love” has already earned nearly 20 million global streams (LISTEN HERE). The tongue-in-cheek track, equal parts candid and contemplative, earned her a performance on NBC’s TODAY with Hoda & Jenna (WATCH HERE).
