Big & Rich Recieve Eight Total ACM Award Nominations

Big & Rich received eight Academy Of Country Music Award nominations at this morning’s ACM Awards Nominations Press Conference in Nashville, Tenn. at The Country Music Hall Of Fame & Museum™. Big & Rich received four nominations as a duo including Top Vocal Duo, and Single Record Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Video Of The Year for the single “Lost In This Moment.” In addition, John Rich is nominated for a Producer and writer award, and Big Kenny is nominated for two producing awards.

"Kenny and I have been blessed this past year with "Lost In This Moment,” said Rich. I can honestly say when I co-wrote the song eight years ago it never crossed my mind that it would be nominated for Song of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards. This is the highest honor for me as a songwriter. Thank you, everyone, for voting for this song."

"People always say it is an honor to just be nominated and you know what...it is. I feel like all the years we struggled to be accepted has paid off. These nominations mean more to us than you will ever know," comments Kenny. "John and I are just two guys from humble beginnings who believed in the power of music. We wanted to spread our love of music to everyone and share our passion for cultivating new talent. Thank you so much for supporting our passion for music."

Both Rich and Big Kenny are nominated as producers for “Lost In This Moment” in the Single Record Of The Year category. Kenny is also nominated as Producer for “Lost In This Moment” in the Video Of The Year category and Rich is up for Song Of The Year for “Lost In This Moment” as songwriter. This morning’s announcement marks 10 career nominations for the duo since 2005.
