Nostalgic Single “I Lived It” Rises to Top 15

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (March 14, 2018) – Country music superstar Blake Shelton will tackle television from night to morning and back again next week starting with a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (3/19). The following morning will bring 8:00 and 10:00 AM appearances on TODAY, with a final stop later that evening (3/20) at Late Night with Seth Meyers.

In the midst of staging a television takeover, Shelton is also making his mark at country radio with his brand new single “I Lived It.” The nostalgic song has already climbed into the Top 15 after just six weeks since its official impact date and continues to rise. “I Lived It” follows the hit-making artist’s 25th No.1 and ACM-nominated single “I’ll Name The Dogs” from his recently released, chart-topping album Texoma Shore. Both tracks and other favorites take center stage on Shelton’s headlining “Country Music Freaks” Tour alongside Brett Eldredge, Carly Pearce and special guest Trace Adkins as it heads into its final weekend.

The 14-date run topped Billboard’s Hot Tours list the week of Feb. 27 for selling out its first six dates and has drawn widespread critical praise. At its kick off in Shelton’s home state of Oklahoma, Tulsa World asserted, “There are singers and then there are entertainers. Shelton is an entertainer.” The St. Louis Post-Dispatch praised his show in Missouri as “a thoroughly entertaining night out that stressed showmanship over showiness,” while the Atlanta Journal Constitution declared the performance reminded fans that “at heart he’s still just a guy with a string of solid country songs and a mischievous grin.”

In addition to his time on the road, Shelton has returned for his 14th season as a coach on NBC’s The Voice joined by Kelly Clarkson, Alicia Keys and Adam Levine. He has also teamed up with Ryman Hospitality to open a string of Ole Red restaurants and entertainment venues, named after his 2001 hit of the same name. Its flagship location opened its doors in Tishomingo last year with a Nashville location on lower Broadway planned to launch in late spring 2018.
