Nashville's rising singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Charlie Worsham will be joining Brad Paisley this summer on his Country Nation World Tour presented by KRAFT Cheese, kicking off tomorrow, May 16, in Philadelphia, PA. Worsham is currently celebrating his latest single “Want Me Too” off his critically-acclaimed album Rubberband, which Washington Post called an “exquisite debut.” He was recently featured in a starring guest role on an episode of Fox’s hit TV show BONES directed by David Boreanaz, which included 4 songs off of Rubberband. “As a guitar player, it’s going to be fun to be on the road with one of country music’s legendary pickers and I feel like my music and live show will be a really great fit for Brad’s fans,” said Worsham. “When you look at today’s big acts and how many got their start on tour with Brad, the number is pretty amazing and I’m excited to add my name to that list." Originally from Grenada, Mississippi, Worsham studied music at Berklee before moving to Nashville, where he wrote and produced the entire 11-track album (co-produced by Ryan Tyndell, executive produced by Arturo Buenahora) before releasing the album on Warner Bros. Records to rave reviews. Celebrating the release with performances on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Fox & Friends, the album impressively landed on several of 2013 Best Of lists; including Spin’s “Best Country Albums,” American Songwriter’s “Top 50 Albums,” and Billboard’s “Top 10 Country Albums.” iTunes also featured Rubberband as one if its “Best of 2013 Editor’s Choice and Top Sellers" as well as being featured in Rhapsody’s “Top 25 Albums of 2013.” For a list of tour dates, click here.
