“Fix A Drink” Top 10 at country radio, paves way for September 22 album release

Janson’s “Cover of a Rolling Stone” Shel Silverstein tribute featured in Friday’s 11th Annual ACM Honors telecast on CBS

Nashville, Tenn. – (September 13, 2017) – Platinum-selling recording artist Chris Janson offers the latest view into his upcoming album, Everybody, with the inspiration behind three tracks he co-wrote with some of Music Row’s legendary hitmakers. The Warner Bros. / Warner Music Nashville project is set for release September 22 and is available now for pre-order.

“Eyes For Nobody” appears early in the record and shares simple sentiments of life and love. “I was having a conversation with my co-writer [Jeremy Stover] about our wives and I happened to say, ‘Well, I’ve got eyes for nobody but her,’” shared Janson. “That’s where the title came from.”

The chart-topper teams up with Corey Crowder in “Out There,” offering a reflective and inspiring ballad. “‘Out There’ is a dream big song. Crew cab Duramax, paid-off title’ – ‘there’s a farm and a barn’ – basically, the message is if you dream big and you really believe you can get it, you can get it.”

Written by Chris Janson, Rhett Akins and Ben Hayslip, “Our World” chronicles the signature happenings of the weekend. “‘Our World’ is just a straight-up party song for people who live the lifestyle like the people I play for on a daily basis,” shares Janson. “It’s a festival song, it’s for people who are tailgating, camping, loving college football – whatever they like to do. Friday, that’s when the party begins. Saturday, it’s nothing but pigskin. Sunday, nothing but preaching in our world. I thought that was a very fitting song because it’s so true.”

Everybody’s first single, “Fix A Drink,” dives into Top 10 at country radio this week and joins the additional tracks from the Fix A Drink EP for a forthcoming album that “has everything fans loved about his first album,” according toABC Radio.

The high-energy performer continues to show off his varied set and unique musicality while on stage. Janson’s ability to seamlessly adjust the tempo onstage spurred Rolling Stone to proclaim Janson “a consummate performer that few other artists can match.” His widely praised Shel Silverstein tribute performance of “Cover of a Rolling Stone” will be featured on the11th Annual ACM Honors broadcast this Friday, September 15 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS Television Network.

With just two weekends left on Sam Hunt’s 15 In A 30 Tour, the “infectious” (Billboard) artist recently announced The EVERYBODY Tour in addition to his Tim McGraw and Faith Hill’s Soul2Soul Tour dates in October. Kicking off last week in Anderson, SC, The EVERYBODY Tour will continue into 2018, featuring a performance at the legendary Ryman Auditorium in February (full dates below).
