Spirited Performer Showcases “Redneck Life” Off EVERYBODY as “Drunk Girl” Climbs the Charts

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (April 13, 2018) – CHRIS JANSON will close out the star-studded line up for the 53rd Academy of Country Music Awards ™ on Sunday when he performs “Redneck Life” off his latest album, Everybody. Scoring the coveted last performance, Janson will bring the electric song to Las Vegas along with his “riveting stage style” – his larger-than-life signature presence as dubbed by People. The 53rd ACM Awards, Country Music’s Party of the Year®, will broadcast LIVE from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday April 15 at 8PM ET/7PM CT on CBS Television Network. Janson’s current single, “Drunk Girl” continues to climb the charts at country radio and remains a standout out in the Opry member’s live sets. Janson is also headlining WME’s Bash on the Beach Friday night with proceeds benefitting ACM Lifting Lives, the charitable arm of the ACMs.

“I am extremely excited to play on this year’s ACM Awards show. I’ll be playing a crowd favorite from my Everybody album, titled “Redneck Life.” It’s a true story; it’s rowdy and it’s gonna be a blast to play live.”

The Platinum-selling entertainer is the youngest living member of the Grand Ole Opry, performing over 100 times on the legendary stage. His sophomore album Everybody produced his second No. 1 single “Fix A Drink.” His follow-up single, “Drunk Girl” has been touted as “quite possibly the most important song to come out of Nashville in years” by CMT and was named one of Rolling Stone’s 25 Best Country Songs of 2017.

Janson burst onto the scene with his debut single “Buy Me A Boat.” The single earned the singer/songwriter his first No. 1 and continues to be a fan-favorite anthem during the multi-instrumentalist’s live show in addition to his second No. 1 “Fix A Drink.” Janson recently wrapped dates on label mate Cole Swindell’s Reason To Drink Tour and will join Jake Owen’s Life’s Whatcha Make It Tour this summer, in addition to his own headline dates.
