Last Friday, Johnson packed out Nashville’s Marathon Music Works, where he performed the new music for a sold-out crowd of fans and industry tastemakers. Johnson’s captivating 90-minute set took the audience on a fist-bumping, hands-waving journey.  An impromptu acoustic set of Cash, Strait, Haggard, Willie and Waylon covers had the audience singing along and hanging on every word.  Johnson was moved by the moment and paused saying “thanks to each and every one of you, for loving traditional country music and for giving me a career.”

Johnson will be performing songs from the new record for his CoJoNation of fans over the next several months as he makes stops in cities from Pensacola, FL to Las Vegas, NV and Detroit, MI down to Dallas, TX. Looking into next year, Johnson has been added to the lineup of two of Country music’s biggest festivals  –  Tortuga Music Festival on April 12 and Stagecoach Festival on April 26.
