COJO Music / Warner Music Nashville Platinum recording artist Cody Johnson, fresh off Luke Combs’ Lumen Field concert in Seattle this weekend in front of more 50,000 fans, impacts country radio today with the title track off his sophomore major-label release Human The Double Album. “Human,”written by Tony Lane and Travis Meadow, was triumphed by Bob Oermann in Music Row, “I didn’t think it was possible to follow a perfect performance like “Til You Can’t”, but this (“Human”) stunning meditation on frailty and mistakes is just as breathtaking. This man is dusted with the glitter of superstardom.” Tom Roland wrote about the story behind the song in last week’s Billboard Makin' Tracks column.
As a thank you to his fiercely loyal COJO Nation fanbase, Johnson recently released a brand-new official music video for his mega hit single, “Til You Can’t.” The clip layers in footage captured on the road as the track skyrocketed to the top of the country radio charts, where it remained at No. 1 for two consecutive weeks in the US and five consecutive weeks in Canada. The Platinum-certified hit spent nine weeks atop the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, 11 weeks at #1 on the US Shazam Country Chart and was named “Hottest Song of Summer” by Taste of Country. Johnson will be back on tour this weekend with headline dates including sold-out shows in Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina. Later this month, fans can look forward to learning more about Johnson as he sits down with Nan Kelley for “Circle Sessions” on Circle Network on June 25 at 8:30pm ET with a repeat on June 26 at 8:30pm ET.
