Cole Swindell Performs This Week’s No. 1 Single “Flatliner” with Dierks Bentley
on ABC’s “CMA Fest” TV Special TONIGHT

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (August 16, 2017) – Platinum-selling recording artist Cole Swindell just earned another Platinum certification for his last single, and sixth consecutive No. 1, “Middle of a Memory” from his Gold-certified sophomore album You Should Be Here.

In just over three years since he made his debut on Warner Bros. Records, Swindell has racked up an impressive and incomparable record-breaking SEVEN No. 1 singles (the only solo artist in the history of the Country Aircheck/Mediabase to top the charts with first seven singles); 10 No. 1 singles as a songwriter; one 1 billion audience reaching single (“You Should Be Here”), five Platinum singles; one Gold single; a Platinum-certified debut album; a Gold-certified sophomore album (You Should Be Here) as well as numerous SONGWRITING honors and awards including being the reigning NSAI Songwriter/Artist of the Year (2016), winning back-to-back CMA Triple Play Awards in both 2015 and 2016 (for penning three No. 1 songs in a 12 month span) and Music Row’s Breakthrough Songwriter of the Year during his debut (2015).

“Cole Swindell is the quintessential ‘complete artist,’” said Warner Music Nashville Chairman and CEO John Esposito. “As a songwriter, he’s on top of his game writing #1 songs not only for himself but also for other award-winning artists in this genre. And as an artist, those songs connect with the consumer who not only help drive these songs to #1 but also buy and stream them in huge quantities. He can take this music to the fans and play for packed stadiums and have the crowd on their feet, arms swaying to songs like “Chillin’ It” and “Let Me See Ya Girl” and then you can hear a pin drop when he sings “”You Should Be Here.” Cole Swindell is a long term superstar in country music!”

“Middle of a Memory” joins the impressive list of RIAA certified hits for Swindell which now includes:

FIVE Platinum-certified singles:
1) “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight”
2) “Ain’t Worth The Whiskey”
3) “Chillin’ It”
