Nashville, TN – (January 7, 2011) – Atlantic Records’ Brett Eldredge was always meant to be seen and heard with his country boy charm and the “owner of a sturdy, heartland voice” (Billboard). Eldredge, whose longtime dream is to be a member of the Grand Ole Opry, will showcase just that as he makes his third Grand Ole Opry appearance this Saturday, January 8 at 8:15 PM at the Opry at the Ryman. Fans and peers alike are falling for the country crooner, who was recently named as one of the artists to watch for in 2011 by Country Music is Love, Country Weekly and Roughstock.

“This is my third time playing the Opry. Bill Anderson introduced me the first time and over 100 people from my hometown drove there to see me and every step I took toward the famous wooden circle I could feel my heart beat a little faster,” says Eldredge. “This time is incredibly exciting for me because The Grascals, which my cousin Terry Eldredge is in, will also be performing that night.”

Eldredge joins Riders in the Sky, Bobby Osborne & Rocky Top X-Press and the Opry Square Dancers in the line-up for Saturday’s show.

Brett Eldredge is county music’s hottest debut artist with his distinctive country sound and powerhouse vocals. The country star has already started quite a buzz with his debut single, “Raymond,” which is one of the Top 5 highest charting singles of 2010. “Raymond” written by Brett Eldredge and Brad Crisler, follows the story of a relationship between a young man and an elderly patient at a nursing home who has Alzheimer’s Disease. The woman mistakes the man as her son, affectionately calling him Raymond. The lyrics are an extremely personal journey for Eldredge, as he wrote the song after learning about the progressing decline of his grandmother’s battle with Alzheimer’s.
