First Time In Their Career To Have All Singles From One Album Reach No.1
GRAMMY-winning country duo Dan + Shay have once again claimed the top of the Mediabase / Billboard country airplay charts for the sixth time in their career with their latest single “All To Myself.” Co-written by the duo along with Jordan Reynolds and Nicolle Galyon, the “intoxicating romantic cocktail” (MusicRow) is their third consecutive No. 1 and has garnered over 200 million on-demand streams globally.
“Thank you to our fans for believing in this song since day one, and fighting for it be a single,” said the duo on their Instagram page. “Please help us say thanks by tagging your local country radio station. It feels extra special.”
All hailing from their self-titled album, which has held strong in the Top 5 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart all year, this marks the first time in the duo’s career that all the singles from one of their albums have reached the coveted spot with a collective seven weeks atop the country airplay charts. The streak began with their two-week No.1 “Tequila,” which is 3x Platinum and has more than 813 million on-demand streams globally. “Speechless” followed, sitting at the top of the charts for four weeks. The 2x Platinum “wedding song of the summer” (The Boot) has over 570 million on-demand streams globally and more than three million track equivalents. “Speechless” is also currently No.16 on the Top 40 chart, No.6 on Hot AC and No.9 on the AC chart.
Dan + Shay, which has sold more than one million album equivalents, has rewarded the duo with more than just a string of No.1 hits. The skyrocketing pair began 2019 winning their first-ever GRAMMY award for Best Country Duo/Group Performance (“Tequila”), including being the most Shazamed performance of the night. The duo then became the most-awarded artist at this year’s ACM Awards, taking home three awards for Best Duo, Song and Single (“Tequila”), with Smyers earning an additional two for his work as a songwriter and producer.
