'DIRTY GIRL' LISA LAMPANELLI NOMINATED FOR A GRAMMY!

‘The Queen of Mean’ Is Up For Best Comedy Album of 2007!

Lisa Lampanelli's CD, “Dirty Girl,” has been nominated for a GRAMMYY Award in the category of “Best Comedy Album,” it was announced yesterday by The Recording Academy. The 50th Annual Grammy Awards will be held February 10, 2008, at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Released on Warner Bros./Jack Records in January 2007, "Dirty Girl" is Lisa's second full-length CD, her first being "Take It Like a Man," also on WB Records.

Being nominated alongside George Lopez, Harry Shearer, Steven Wright and the Flight of the Conchords is Lisa's proudest career accomplishment to date. And she thanks everyone out there for making “Dirty Girl” the hit it is.
