A FAMILY AFFAIR: HIGH VALLEY’S “YOUR MAMA” VIDEO

STARS BROTHERS’ WIVES, PARENTS, CHILDREN

The Boot says that “chances are, if you know anything aboutHigh Valley, you know that they value their family and spending time together” – and nothing demonstrates this truth more than the brand new music video for their song “Your Mama” (watch HERE). The official video, which stars brothers Brad and Curtis Rempel as well as their wives and children, premiered today across all CMT platforms (see HERE). Interspersed scenes see other families in varied situations from the stressful to the mess-full, but ultimately reflective of a mother’s love.

“This is the first time we’ve been able to feature our families in a music video! We think our kids our natural-born actors,” Brad joked. “This video will always be special to us because of the great memories we have with our wives, our children and even our mom and dad, who we flew down to join us. We’re very proud of it – but I think our mom is prouder than anyone else!”

The family-fueled video was directed by Emma Higgins and shot at Brad’s home outside of Nashville. Described as a “heartwarming musical embrace” (Sounds Like Nashville), the mid-tempo country song was written by Ben West, Josh Miller, Troy Verges and Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard as a message from parent to child (listen HERE). High Valley’s earlier 2019 release “Single Man” offered a different but equally fitting tribute to their wives. Brad penned the upbeat tune alongside Derrick Southerland and Jordan Schmidt, and the duo recently gave it a special bluegrass makeover alongside executive producer Ricky Skaggs (listen HERE).

Their distinctive brand of positive-minded, bluegrass-infused country music has made High Valley a formidable duo across the globe. They have already earned more than 180 million streams across the US and their native Canada alone. Their 2016 debut album Dear Life produced fan favorite “Make You Mine” and Top 10 radio hit “She’s With Me,” both of which have been certified Gold. The brothers’ touring credits include dates with some of the format’s biggest superstars, from Shania Twain to Keith Urban and most recently Old Dominion. High Valley will continue to tour through the end of the year as they work on new music.
