Ballard’s self-titled album is available everywhere now

Ballard kicks off run opening for superstar Taylor Swift with upcoming shows in Ft. Lauderdale, FL (6/2, 6/3) and Orlando, FL (6/4)

Nashville, TN – (June 1, 2011) – Warner Bros. Records’ guitar slinger Frankie Ballard set out to make a summer anthem for girls with his hit single, “A Buncha Girls” and is dedicating the debut of his new music video today to, well, girls. Directed by Jim Wright and filmed in Venice Beach, CA the video features Ballard narrating for a group of girls taking a road trip to the beach and the adventures they have along the way on this summer day. The video can be seen on Great American Country (GAC) and Country Music Television (CMT) Pure Country beginning today, June 1. The video can also be viewed on all online outlets. Ballard’s hit singles, “A Buncha Girls” and “Tell Me You Get Lonely” are featured on Frankie Ballard produced by Michael Knox (Jason Aldean) and available everywhere now.

"This song is not about me and a buncha girls. It is about you girls and how you always stick together. Us guys don’t go to the store together or the movies. But, girls… they have girl’s nights out, take trips to the beach and go to the bathroom together,” Ballard quips. “Nothing drives guys crazier than seeing a bunch of girls. I want this to be an anthem for you. A song that you roll the windows down, crank it up and rock out!”

This country heartthrob is surrounded by bunches of girls these days as he opens for superstar Taylor Swift on the North American leg of the “SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR 2011.” Ballard kicked off the tour this weekend for a sold-out crowd in Omaha, NE and Des Moines, IA. He will be playing in Ft. Lauderdale, FL (6/2, 6/3) and Orlando, FL (6/4).

Few debut artists can compare to Ballard’s impetuous breakthrough in the music scene as country’s guitar slinging heartthrob. In just one year, Ballard has already scored a Top Five video hit with his debut single “Tell Me You Get Lonely,” toured with rock star Uncle Kracker, starred in his own GAC web series, wrote a song on Billy Currington’s new CD, issued “A Buncha Girls” as his second radio single and staged his debut at the Grand Ole Opry. And if that wasn’t enough, Ballard just wrapped a 13 show run opening for Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer, Bob Seger and is currently opening for superstar Taylor Swift on her upcoming North American leg of the “SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR 2011.” Hailing from Battle Creek, Michigan, Ballard brings a fresh new sound with his unique blend of edgy, country rock and sheer, fleet-fingered guitar skills.
