Nashville, TN – September 24th, 2010 – Gloriana’s debut single, “Wild at Heart” is certified gold by the R.I.A.A (Recording Industry Association of America), marking the AMA, ACM and CMT award winners’ first gold digital single. Gloriana was presented with a plaque at yesterday’s “Pickin’ on the Patio” event by Emblem Records’ President, Dean Serletic and Warner Music Nashville’s President and CEO, John Esposito in honor of the band selling over 500,000 singles for “Wild at Heart.” Written by Kay Bentley, Peter Kear and Matt Serlectic, “Wild at Heart” was the best selling single from a new country act in 2009 and is off the band’s self-titled debut album which was released last August.

“Tonight is a great opportunity for us to recognize a big milestone in Gloriana’s career,” said Dean Serletic at yesterday’s event. “Pickin’ on the Patio provided the perfect setting to celebrate as the band performed for so many people who have helped contribute to and support their success.”

"We are incredibly excited about Gloriana's future! They have continued to grow their ardent fan base, as shown by the success of ‘Wild at Heart,’” added John Esposito. “The band is starting work on their sophomore release, which will be the next step in further paving their long and successful career path in country music. We're proud to have them in our family!"

Gloriana debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard Country Album Chart and No. 3 on Billboard's Top 200 and was the best selling debut by a country group in 2009. The album includes hit singles “Wild at Heart,” “How Far Do You Wanna Go?” and “The World Is Ours Tonight.” Gloriana is a four-member vocal group featuring brothers Tom and Mike Gossin, Rachel Reinert and Cheyenne Kimball. The group has won the fan-voted awards for ACM Top New Vocal Group of the Year, the 2009 AMA for Breakthrough Artist of the Year and the “Nationwide On Your Side Award” at the 2009 CMT Awards. Gloriana, who are currently out on the road finishing up their Long Hot Summer Tour, have teamed up again with seasoned producer Matt Serletic (Willie Nelson, Matchbox Twenty, Collective Soul, and Rob Thomas) to work on their second album.
