GLORIANA OFFERS FANS FREE DOWNLOAD OF “SOLDIER SONG” IN CELEBRATION OF VETERAN’S DAY

November 11, 2011 –– In celebration of Veterans Day and all the men and women who have served in the military Gloriana has released “Soldier Song,” from their forthcoming second studio album on Emblem Music Group/ Warner Bros. Records, as a free download for 24 hours today exclusively at www.gloriana.com/soldiersong. The song, written by band members Tom and Mike Gossin and multi Grammy Award winning producer Matt Serletic, was inspired by the band’s experience during their trip overseas to perform for the troops stationed in the Middle East and Europe last November. Gloriana’s new single “(Kissed You) Good Night” is currently climbing the country charts.
 
Gloriana will be doing a special performance of “Soldier Song” in Rochester, MN today as part of the town’s Veterans Day celebration. Gloriana is set to perform in Rochester, MN tonight during their cross country tour through the end of the year. Gloriana released their debut self-titled album in 2009 and quickly became the best-selling debut country act, winning the 2009 fan voted American Music Award for Breakthrough Artist. The album, Gloriana, spawned the Gold-certified hit single “Wild At Heart” and led to two years on the road as Taylor Swift’s opening act on her Fearless Tour where they performed in front of millions worldwide. Since then they have continued to open for some of country music’s biggest names including Jason Aldean, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, and the Zac Brown Band. In 2010, Gloriana won the Academy of Country Music’s Award for Top New Vocal Group, celebrated their first headlining tour across the country, and traveled overseas to entertain U.S. troops on bases in the Middle East and Europe.
