Hunter Hayes Celebrates Third Consecutive No. 1 Off Platinum Debut Album With “I Want Crazy”

Multiple GRAMMY nominated country star Hunter Hayes is celebrating his third consecutive No.1 hit single off his platinum-selling debut album with “I Want Crazy” racing to the top of the Country Aircheck Mediabase chart this week. This comes on the heels of the hit single and his Atlantic Records’ self-titled debut album (ENCORE) both being certified platinum by the RIAA in the same week. Hunter also entertained fans this weekend at the Montana Fair with critics noting “From the moment Hayes slid across the stage in his white T-shirt, skinny jeans and sneakers, Rimrock Auto Arena was filled with young female voices screaming,” (Jaci Webb, Billings Gazette) and a turnout of fans that topped the previous night’s attendance.

Prior to heading out this fall to headline the CMT on Tour: Hunter Hayes' Let's Be Crazy tour, Hunter will be making his first trip overseas to Japan and Thailand for a string of promotion and performances with Jason Mraz at the Sonic Bang Festival in Bangkok on Aug 24 and at Studio Coast Tokyo on Aug 26, as well as performances with his own band at Tower Records Shibuya Aug 28 and at Tower Records Osaka Aug 29.
