Hunter Hayes To Perform At The 46th Annual CMA Awards

    Fresh off the heels of his #1 single, "Wanted," Hunter will join Country Music greats Blake Shelton, Keith Urban, Faith Hill and more as a performer at The 46th Annual CMA Awards!

    Hunter made the announcement to his fans via Twitter earlier today, saying "Oh hey guys, soooo its official...I get to PERFORM on the #CMAAwards this year! For real!!!!"

    This marks Hunter's first CMA Awards performance, so set your DVR now! Hayes fans across the world will be crossing their fingers that Hunter takes home the award for New Artist of the Year. The 46th Annual CMA Awards will air live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Thursday, November 1st at 8:00 PM ET on ABC.

    The CMA Awards nominees and winners are determined by the 11,000 industry professional members of CMA, which was formed in 1958 as the first trade organization to promote an individual genre of music. The first “CMA Awards Banquet and Show” was held in 1967. The following year, the CMA Awards was broadcast on NBC television for the first time – making it the longest-running annual music awards program on network television.
