Hunter Hayes "Wanted" Takes Home Top Honor at 2013 BMI Awards

Award-winning artist, Hunter Hayes, won BMI’s coveted "Song of the Year” award for his multi-week No. 1 hit “Wanted” at last night’s BMI Awards. The song was co-written by Hunter and Troy Verges and produced by Hunter and Dann Huff. "Wanted" garnered more than one million performances in 2012 alone, making it one of the most-performed songs of the year. The multi-platinum record was also nominated for a GRAMMY Award in the “Best Country Solo Performance” category this year and is one of the top 10 selling country songs of 2013 selling over three million singles to date. Hayes is currently on CMT On Tour: Hunter Hayes’ Let’s Be Crazy Tour in support of his platinum selling debut album, Hunter Hayes (Encore), with dates through December.
