World Television Premiere This Sunday On Comedy Central

Nashville, TN – Super Bowl XLIV is upon us and Jack Records/Warner Bros. Records Comedian Larry The Cable Guy is throwing the ultimate tailgate party with his new DVD release, “Larry The Cable Guy: Tailgate Party.” The DVD will be in stores on February 2. In addition, the World Television Premiere of the special debuts Sunday, Jan. 31 at 9:00 PM EST/PST.

The special was filmed during a unique performance in front of more than 50,000 people at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln, NE on Independence Day in support of Husker Fans on the UNL Campus. Larry’s appearance was in conjunction with The City Of Lincoln’s 2-day event, “Uncle Sam Jam.” Performing in the largest comedy show ever recorded, Larry The Cable Guy gives a large amount of new material about TV, Hot Dogs and “buying in bulk.”

Larry The Cable Guy released his first album on Warner Bros. Records, A Very Larry Christmas, in 2004 and went on to release The Right To Bear Arms in 2005 and Morning Constitutions in 2007. Two of Larry’s albums are certified Gold by the RIAA: Lord, I Apologize on Hip-O-Records and the GRAMMY®-nominated The Right To Bear Arms, while Larry The Cable Guy’s Christmas Spectacular and A Very Larry Christmas are certified Platinum. He has starred in such movies as Larry The Cable Guy: Health Inspector (2006), Delta Farce (2007), Witless Protection (2008) and lent his voice to the Disney/Pixar Film Cars. He will reprise the role of Mater in Cars 2 and his new series "Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy" will premiere on the History Channel in the third quarter of 2010.
