The past and the present meet Friday night when Warner Bros. new artist Michael Ray makes his grand Ole Opry debut. The Eustis, FL native started playing acoustic guitar and singing in his grandfather’s country band when he was nine years old, performing classic country songs for anyone who would listen. When he takes the stage at the Opry House on Friday night for his two song set, Ray will play his hit debut single, “Kiss You In The Morning,” and a song to honor his grandfather and the music and artists he grew up on.

Singer/songwriter Chris Janson has officially inked a new record deal with Warner Bros. Records through Warner Music Nashville. Additionally, iHeartMedia will feature Janson in its “On The Verge Artist” program.

Atlantic Records recording artist Brett Eldredge really does lose his mind in the sexy video for his new single “Lose My Mind,” which arrives at country radio today.

The reigning CMA New Artist of the Year is his usual suave, debonair self in the video that debuts today at people.com, until he meets a woman he can’t get out of his head. Along the way, Eldredge is held hostage by the thought of her in a mind-bending video for a mind-bending song.

The Down Home Crew really came through for Cole Swindell on Sunday night at The Academy of Country Music Awards.

The Warner Bros. Records recording artist won New Artist of the Year during the CBS broadcast at AT&T Stadium. The award is one of two determined in part by the fans, who turned out big time for Swindell.

Song ideas come from all kinds of places. Sometimes they keep you awake at night and can drive you a little bit crazy. Brett Eldredge’s new single, “Lose My Mind,” is one of those songs.

Under the heading ‘16 Songs We’re Loving This Spring,’ Warner Bros. Records’ Michael Ray’s debut single, “Kiss You In the Morning,” has been added to Entertainment Weekly’s spring playlist. “It’s been a long, long winter. But spring is finally in the air – And so are fresh new tracks,” says EW, who also spotlights new songs from Madonna, Kendrick Lamar and Kelly Clarkson – with Ray’s “Kiss” named the only country song on the list.

If early interest is any indication, Blake Shelton has another hit on the way. Shelton’s slinky new single “Sangria” is the most added song at country radio this week, a quick start that follows a record 14 consecutive No. 1 hits for reigning and five time CMA Male Vocalist of the Year. The song was already Top 50 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart last week even though it hadn’t yet been officially released.

Warner Bros. recording artists will be providing the entertainment for the fastest-growing stars of the entrepreneurial world at this year’s Grow Your Company Conference (GROWCO), produced by Inc. magazine, the leading media brand for private companies, entrepreneurs and start-ups.
