NASHVILLE, TN (November 6, 2017) – With sights set on taking her “Nashville spitfire” (People Magazine) status worldwide, RAELYNN officially becomes the face of Too Faced Cosmetics’ “Life’s A Festival” collection today. The breakout songstress has built her now-signature look since the debut of her No. 1 album WildHorse (Warner Bros./Warner Music Nashville) last year and even teased the collaboration on Instagram in recent weeks. Cosmopolitan exclusively reveals products featured in “Life’s A Festival” – including RaeLynn’s favorites like the Rainbow Strobe Highlighter and the Unicorn Tears Bronzer – available February 15, 2018 at TooFaced.com. RaeLynn leads the charge as the first country artist featured as the face of a Too Faced collection, joining a unique curation that includes Katy Perry, Francesca Eastwood and Ireland Baldwin. Sharing details about how her relationship with Too Faced began, RaeLynn chatted with People Magazine last month during Too Faced’s preview event in New York City.
“It’s a dream come true to work with Jerrod, Jeremy and their amazing team at Too Faced,” said RaeLynn. “My fans know I am obsessed with unicorns and all things magical so this collaboration has been written in the stars. The first make up I ever bought was a shadow palette from Too Faced. To be able to be the face of the campaign is a ‘Pinch Me’ moment.”
Based in California and led by Co-Founders Jerrod Blandino, Chief Creative Officer, and Jeremy Johnson, CEO, Too Faced has built a global beauty empire with its playful and empowering designs and products. RaeLynn shares Too Faced’s bold message through her music, as evidenced in her anthemic single, “Lonely Call,” which has tallied over ten million streams since its release. The tune’s accompanying video highlight’s RaeLynn’s emboldened message, garnering nearly two million views since release.
“RaeLynn is dynamic, beautiful, talented and the epitome of the Too Faced girl,” shared Blandino. “I chose her to be the face of our Festival collection because she genuinely loved our La Crème lipstick in the shade Unicorn Tears – and this product was the muse for the entire Festival collection. She sent me the most amazing video telling me how much she loved the product and from there we became good friends!”
More information will be available in the coming months. The Too Faced collection will be available at TooFaced.com beginning February 15, 2018.
About RaeLynn:
With more than 10 million streams to date, RaeLynn’s current single “Lonely Call” is the follow-up to her powerful first track “Love Triangle” from the Warner Bros. Records/Warner Music Nashville #1 debut WildHorse, produced by Jimmy Robbins and Nicolle Galyon. “Love Triangle” tells her personal story in a way that "is a raw and emotional account of what it’s like to be the child of divorced parents" (People Magazine), which media and fans immediately gravitated to, evidenced by the single hitting Top 10 sales per spin while the music video has racked up over 10 million views since its release. The remainder of the 12-track album, 11 of which were co-written by RaeLynn herself, is a broader look into her life over the past few years since her breakthrough on NBC’s hit show, The Voice. Recently selected as a 2017 “Country Artist to Watch” by Pandora, Napster and Billboard and a current CMT Next Women of Country inductee, RaeLynn has tallied 120 million plus cumulative career streams. She is poised to follow in the early success of her Top 10, GOLD-certified song “God Made Girls” that has tallied more than 940,000 track equivalent sales and has been streamed more than 50 million times. The rising star has earned numerous award nominations including the Academy of Country Music Awards’ New Female Vocalist of the Year, Radio Disney Music Awards’ Favorite Country Song and The Freshest! - Best New Artist Country, and most recently CMT Music Awards’ Breakthrough Video of the Year, her second in that category in addition to a Female Video of the Year nod. The breakout star has had several national TV performances since The Voice, including appearances on TODAY, Late Night with Seth Meyers and ELLEN.
