Randy Travis Teams Up With The Avett Brothers For CMT Crossroads

  • Posted on Oct 25th by Team WMN  in Randy Travis, Randy Travis, CMT, Crossroads

Randy will join fellow North Carolina natives The Avett Brothers for a special episode of CMT Crossroads, premiering Friday, November 23rd at 11/10c. CMT Crossroads pairs legendary country artists with renowned musicians from other genres, allowing the artists to perform and duet on one another's songs.

The Avett Brothers are an award-winning folk band, steeped in the North Carolina bluegrass tradition. Consisting of brothers, banjo player Scott Avett and guitarist Seth Avett, and stand-up bass player Bob Crawford, The Avett Brothers have become genre stalwarts over the course of six albums, including 2007's acclaimed Emotionalism and their 2009 major label debut on American Recordings, I and Love and You. Most recently, their seventh full-length album and first for the joint venture between American and Republic Records, The Carpenter, debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard Top 200.

Fans can expect to hear a handful of Randy's most famous hits, along with some of The Avett Brothers most memorable tunes.
