REPRISE RECORDS’ FRANKIE BALLARD JOINS UNCLE KRACKER ON HIS FIRST-EVER COUNTRY MUSIC CLUB TOUR, “IT’S GOOD TO BE ME TOUR 2010”

Nashville, TN – (September 28th, 2010) – Reprise Recording artist Frankie Ballard won’t be feeling lonely for long as he embarks on tour with fellow Michigan natives, Uncle Kracker and Ty Stone. The guitar slinger and country heartthrob is climbing the charts with his debut single, “Tell Me You Get Lonely,” which lands at No. 34 on this week’s Country Aircheck Mediabase chart and No. 36 on the Billboard Country chart. Ballard will join Uncle Kracker on his first-ever country music club tour entitled – “It’s Good To Be Me Tour 2010.” The tour is set to kick-off on November 3rd in Athens, GA and continue into mid-December, wrapping up the tour in Wabash, IN.

"We are all from Michigan -- Uncle Kracker, Ty Stone and I -- this is going to be the ‘Detroit-Country-Rocks-In-Your-Face-Tour,’" says Ballard. "I'm excited for Uncle Kracker fans to hear my music and hope they dig it!"

Hailing from Battle Creek, Michigan, Frankie Ballard is a little bit Country and a little bit Rock & Roll with his unique blend of edgy, country rock and sheer, fleet-fingering guitar skills. In 2008, Ballard won Kenny Chesney’s “Next Big Star” regional competition and opened for Chesney at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids and Ford Field in Detroit. Ballard is currently working on his forthcoming debut album for Reprise Records with producer Michael Knox (Jason Aldean).
