The bucket-list appearance caps off a whirlwind release week for the singer-songwriter, with THINGS THAT WE DRINK TO available everywhere now. Praised for his “eclectic musicality” and “relentless optimism” (MusicRow) throughout the album, Evans co-wrote each of the 11 personal tracks. The dynamic talent also played the instruments heard across the project, alongside producer Chris DeStefano.

Sitting down with PEOPLE Now while in New York City, Evans opened up about THINGS THAT WE DRINK TO, days after the magazine named him to their esteemed “Ones To Watch” 2018 list. View a clip of the PEOPLE Now interview and hear the backstory of Evans’ unique performance style here

Toasting to the album’s launch, Evans threw a blowout concert and release party in another major U.S. city, taking the stage at Joe’s on Weed St. in Chicago, IL on October 13. Taste of Country stated the magnetic entertainer treated the Windy City to “a night of sheer talent” as he performed tracks from the new release, including current chart-rising single “Day Drunk.”

Fans across the country can hear new music from THINGS THAT WE DRINK TO live throughout the end of the year, as Evans continues on Chris Young’s LOSING SLEEP WORLD TOUR with upcoming shows in Evansville, IN (10/25), Milwaukee, WI (10/26) and Champaign, IL (10/27).
