TUCKER BEATHARD SHARES ANTHEMIC “BETTER THAN ME” AS FIRST MAJOR LABEL SINGLE FROM THE SECOND INSTALLMENT OF A DOUBLE ALBUM

Singer/Songwriter Kicks-Off RIDE ON TOUR Tonight In Charlotte, NC

Singer/songwriter Tucker Beathard released the driving track “Better Than Me” today, as the first major label single taken from the forthcoming second installment of his debut double album (Warner Music Nashville). A stream is available HERE. 

Known for his “country songwriting approach to narrative, that builds to the payoff in the hook and uses clever wordplay,” (NPR) Beathard’s “Better Than Me” puts a unique spin on a breakup anthem with the use of his signature “southern metaphors” (Rolling Stone) and dynamic power chords that ultimately leave the singer/songwriter wishing the best for a past relationship. Co-written by Beathard, Dan Isbell and Jonathan Singleton, the track also showcases Beathard’s producer and musician skills on both lead guitar and drums.

“'Better Than Me' has always been one of my personal favorite songs that I have written and I love playing it live,” said Beathard. "I think that the feeling behind the song is something really relatable and I couldn’t be more excited to get to release it, and hopefully at some point hear it on the radio. Having a new song out there is a great way to kick off the tour tonight, too."
 
Beathard is set to kick-off his headlining RIDE ON TOUR tonight (2/22) in Charlotte, NC. The rowdy club tour will continue on through April, hitting major cities across the U.S. allowing the born road warrior to reconnect with audiences through his music and live performances, where he thrives most. The first country artist to release a debut double album, Tucker Beathard’s first installment, NOBODY’S EVERYTHING, was immediately praised for the “gritty” nature of the album, and Beathard’s “fresher, rawer sound” (Music Row). Beathard just announced that he has signed a major recording deal with Warner Music Nashville.
