Nashville, TN – (March 3, 2011) – Warner Bros. Records’ guitar slinging newcomer Frankie Ballard, recently named as one to watch in 2011, has got spring fever and is ready to get the warm weather fun started with the release of his romping new single “A Buncha Girls.” The new single hit country radio this week with 28 stations already on board to play it a buncha times. “A Buncha Girls” is available on iTunes and will be featured on his forthcoming debut album produced by Michael Knox (Jason Aldean).

Written by Frankie Ballard, Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson and Ben Hayslip, “A Buncha Girls” is an up-tempo, feel-good track that will have you rolling your windows down and cranking up the music.

“Tempo excites me, so it was a lot of fun to write and record ‘A Buncha Girls’,” shares Ballard. “Plus, I got to plug my Les Paul straight into a 100 watt Marshall head! I can't wait to hear it on the radio.”

And this country heartthrob will be surrounded by a buncha girls as he opens select dates for superstar Taylor Swift on her upcoming North American leg of the “SPEAK NOW WORLD TOUR 2011.”

Ballard broke through the country music charts with his hit debut single, “Tell Me You Get Lonely,” and his debut music video was Top 5 on GAC’s fan-voted Top 20 Country Countdown. Hailing from Battle Creek, Michigan, Ballard brings a fresh new sound with his unique blend of edgy, country rock and sheer, fleet-fingered guitar skills. In 2008, Ballard won Kenny Chesney’s “Next Big Star” regional competition and opened for Chesney at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids and Ford Field in Detroit.
