Major Label Debut “Loved by a Country Boy” Lands on Spotify’s US Viral 50
Rising country recording artist Trea Landon will make her feel “Loved by a Country Boy” – but first he has to “Get The Girl.” As the 26-year-old Georgia native explains of his brand new track, available now (listen HERE), “This song is about a girl that isn’t impress with just pick-up lines. You have to go above and beyond to get a girl like this to be interested in you.” Fellow songwriters Justin Wilson, Paul Jenkins, Brandon Ratcliff and Pete Good penned the romantic tune about finding that special someone.
“Get The Girl” follows Landon’s major label debut, “Loved by a Country Boy” (listen HERE). The song landed last week on Spotify’s United States Viral 50 chart alongside heavy-hitters of all genres and remains still at No. 22. Fans can also catch the song on Spotify’s Breakout Country, New Boots and Next From Nashville playlists as well as Apple’s Cool Country, Amazon’s all-genre Introducing… and Introducing: Country and YouTube Music’s Country’s New Crop.
Landon scored a publishing deal within weeks of moving to Nashville in 2015, released an EP independently with more than three million streams and has since joined the Warner Music Nashville label family. He considers the Peach Pickers among his greatest influences on his songs that tell tale of love, heartbreak, dirt roads and good times. Landon – who has already toured with the likes of Luke Combs, Riley Green and Craig Campbell – is preparing to take his music to radio this summer while continuing to play shows across the country.
