Altadena / Warner Records / Warner Music Nashville emerging vocal knockout RYAN GRIFFIN is premiering the official music video for his debut song “Right Here Right Now,” on Billboard.com today (10/3). Filmed in downtown Los Angeles, CA, and directed by Nicholas Lam, the clip follows an unlikely love story simmering between a couple whose world is ending as they know it. The intense setting builds on the track’s live-for-today vibe, with lyrics penned by Griffin alongside Josh London and Jason Massey. Watch the cinematic video unfold HERE.

"As soon as the lyric started, I saw a vivid movie flashing before my eyes,” Griffin tells Billboard. “It wasn’t what I expected, but it made me feel the intense passion I wanted to capture. It was surreal! I’m so thankful we found the director Nick Lam to pull it off. He captures scenes the way I write songs. I knew he was the guy as soon as I saw a piece of his work."

Griffin took Entertainment Tonight exclusively behind the scenes of his first-ever music video. Check your local listings HERE for this Saturday’s (10/5) episode to get an inside look at the making of “Right Here Right Now.”

The heart-forward up-and-comer continues to seize his moment, with more new music on the horizon. Already a PLATINUM-certified hitmaker as a co-writer of Kelsea Ballerini’s #1 hit “Dibs,” Griffin’s artistic potential continues to come to light. Named one of Rolling Stone’s “10 New Country Artists You Need To Know” and recently a special guest on Old Dominion’s MAKE IT SWEET TOUR, he will showcase his stunning vocals and hardwired emotional connection on the road with Carly Pearce this fall.

ABOUT RYAN GRIFFIN
Altadena / Warner Records / Warner Music Nashville artist Ryan Griffin is a vocal knockout and heart-forward hitmaker who’s now poised for his breakout Country moment. His debut song, “Right Here Right Now,” produced by GRAMMY nominee and ACM Award winner busbee (Maren Morris, Gwen Stefani), combines Pop, Soul and R&B with the honest universality of Country to forge a romantic mix landing somewhere between Keith Urban and Brian McKnight. Growing up on his family’s farm in Florida and moving to Music City at the age of 17, Griffin made his first mark in 2016 as a co-writer of Kelsea Ballerini’s PLATINUM #1 single, “Dibs.” Meanwhile, he’s grabbed his own artistic attention on multiple platforms, racking up more than 15 MILLION streams on Spotify with infectious tracks including “Woulda Left Me Too,” “Best Cold Beer” and “Play It By Heart,” and being featured as a SiriusXM Highway Find. Also recognized as one of Rolling Stone’s “10 New Country Artists You Need to Know,” he has opened high-profile concert dates for Ballerini, Lady Antebellum, Old Dominion and Cole Swindell, and will join Carly Pearce on the road as a special guest for several cross-country shows this fall.
