NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (July 13, 2018) – Country rockers The Wild Feathers (Taylor Burns, Ricky Young, Joel King, Ben Dumas) are celebrating the recent release of their album Greetings From the Neon Frontier (BUY / STREAM HERE) with a weekend of milestones. They will hit CBS This Morning: Saturday for the first time tomorrow (7/14) for a “Saturday Sessions” with a trio of tunes from the new record. Fans can watch the show to catch their performances of “Quittin’ Time” and “Stand By You” (AIR TIMES HERE), and they can check out “Big Sky” on the CBS News website (HERE) later in the day.

The foursome will carry the momentum into the evening when they make their debut on the legendary Grand Ole Opry stage. They will also be featured in an upcoming “My Opry Debut” segment on the Opry’s official YouTube channel. Says singer-guitarist Young of the occasion: “On a personal level, I remember watching the Opry at my grandparents’ house as a little kid. It’s cool for both me and my family to experience first-hand something that’s been in our lives for so long. For the band, it’s one of those landmark opportunities that we’ve always wanted to do. It gives us a chance to perform on a stage shared by many greats, for us to introduce our music to new fans and for us to get one step closer to where we want to be.”

The Wild Feathers previewed their exciting weekend with Thursday’s performance of “Stand By You” on TODAY (WATCH HERE). They also stopped by the Paste Studio NYC at The Manhattan Center for a stripped-down set of songs from the new album such as road anthem “Wildfire,” which Rolling Stone praised for “ lush harmonies and a sun-kissed melody that would be perfect for some tequila sunrise” (WATCH HERE).

With 10 Jay Joyce-produced tracks, Greetings From the Neon Frontier has earned praise for its wandering spirit from outlets such as CMT, who declared, “The Wild Feathers have returned triumphant and glorious.” Taste of Country named the foursome one of its “5 Country Acts to Watch in June 2018,” noting, “The Wild Feathers offer something refreshing against what can sometimes be a stale mainstream landscape… Their sound feels wide open and welcoming to all kinds of listeners.” They will take the rocking “road music” that the Associated Press suggests “might make you step on the gas a little harder” to the highways this summer as they hit festival dates across the country, including Michigan’s Faster Horses Festival (7/21) and Nashville’s own Live on the Green (8/30).
