Hunter Hayes took the stage at the 2013 Academy of Country Music Awards with a powerful debut performance of his new single, “I Want Crazy,” and a high energy duet of “Sir Duke” with music legend Stevie Wonder that thrilled the audience. “I Want Crazy” is included on his forthcoming Deluxe CD titled Hunter Hayes (Encore) due out June 18th and available for iTunes pre-order here. Nominees for the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards were announced online this morning through the second-annual Digital Press Conference. Congrats to Warner Music Nashville artists on their ACM nominations! Hunter Hayes received six nominations, the second most nominated artist this year, including nominations for New Male Vocalist of the Year and Video of the Year for “Wanted.” He is also twice nominated in the Song of the Year category as the artist and composer, as well as in the Single Record of the Year category as the artist and producer for “Wanted.”
The Academy of Country Music and Great American Country (GAC) announced today the newcomer categories for New Artist of the Year Award, nominating Hunter Hayes as New Male Vocalist of the Year and Jana Kramer as New Female Vocalist of the Year!
