Warner Bros. Records will release a 7” vinyl record featuring multi-platinum and 6-time GRAMMY wining icon, Randy Travis, and critically-acclaimed North Carolina folk-pop-rock band, The Avett Brothers, as part of the 2013 Record Store Day. The collaboration comes from the CMT Crossroads series in which the two acts performed each other’s songs together last November and is available here. The track listing is as follows:

Randy performed yesterday at the memorial service for slain ex-Navy SEAL sniper Chris Kyle. Randy began by playing an acoustic version of "Whisper My Name," which Kyle's wife had told him was a meaningful song for the couple. After, Randy sang "Amazing Grace" for the thousands gathered at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas, TX. Randy exclaimed that he never met Kyle, but wished he had.

On November 22, Randy Travis will join George Jones on stage at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena for the final stop of Jones' "Grand Tour." The concert will conclude the 58-year career of the revered country music legend. In addition to Randy, Jones has selected Jamey Johnson, the Charlie Daniels Band, and Lorrie Morgan to perform at the historic event.
