Nominations for the 51st Annual GRAMMY® Awards were announced December 3 by The Recording Academy® and both Randy Travis and James Otto came away with four nominations.

Randy Travis received a Grammy Award nomination in the Best Country Album category for his first Country music album in eight years, Around The Bend. In addition, songwriters Ashley Gorley and Bob Regan were nominated in the Best Country Song category for Travis’ “Dig Two Graves” from the same album.

Randy Travis was honored with a Grammy last night at the 49th Edition of this award ceremony. He was awarded "Best Southern, Country, or Bluegrass Gospel Album" for Glory Train! Congrats, Randy!

Randy Travis and Josh Turner will headline the premiere of CMT's new performance series CMT Cross Country. The program makes its debut on Friday, August 11th at 10 PM Eastern and Pacific. The two will team up on their hit songs including "Three Wooden Crosses", "Long Black Train", "Forever And Ever, Amen" and "Your Man."

The 36th Annual GMA Music Awards were held last night at the Grand Ole Opry House here in Nashville. Randy, and his producer, Kyle Lehning, were each awarded a Dove Award for Country Album of the Year for Randy's Word Records album, Passing Through.

Randy Travis joined forces with Extreme Makeover: Home Edition to help the Elcano family get a brand new Bakersfield home and raise $60,000 for the kids college funds. The show will air on Sunday, November 21 on the ABC Television Network (8:00 - 9:00 p.m., ET/PT.) Travis' new CD, Passing Through was released on Tues. Nov. 9. His new single, "Four Walls," which is performed during the set at the Elcano fundraiser during the show, is about a simpler time on the farm when "Four walls, three words, two hearts and one love" were all anyone needed.

Randy Travis will be releasing his highly anticipated upcoming project, Passing Through on November 9, as a follow-up to his highly successful Word/Warner Bros. Records projects Rise & Shine and Worship & Faith.

Passing Through will showcase Travis's unmatched story-telling and communicative ability through song, in a familiar yet new way for his millions of fans and listeners. The project will be released into Country and Christian outlets, throughout multi-genre distribution outlets.
