Kramer has also been named CMT’s inaugural artist for their newly revamped “Listen Up” program, which will feature Kramer across the channel and online network during the entire month of programming in February.

NASHVILLE, TN – (February 18, 2011) – Country newcomer Jana Kramer proves that not giving up pays off as her debut release “I Won’t Give Up” sells over 40,000 digital copies. In one week, Kramer is proving to be one of country music’s hot new artist with “I Won’t Give Up” also reaching No. 2 on the iTunes Top Country Songs charts last week and No. 38 overall on the iTunes overall chart.
Jana Kramer, who plays a dramatized version of her triple-threat self as “Alex Dupre” on The CW’s One Tree Hill, has inked a deal with Warner Music Nashville for her major label country debut. A singer/songwriter at her core, Kramer will premiere her single, “I Won’t Give Up,” which she co-wrote, in the February 8th episode of One Tree Hill (The CW, Tuesdays 8/7c).
"I Won’t Give Up" is about never giving up on the ones you love,” said Kramer. “I wrote this song because I know what it's like to be dependent on someone then have to learn how to stand on my own again."
