Records Artist Blake Shelton teams up with his long-time friend Trace Adkins to show we all have a hillbilly side in us with his new single, “Hillbilly Bone.” On Monday, Oct. 12, Shelton’s fan club members will get a special treat when “Hillbilly Bone” will be available for them to preview for 24 hours via logging into their BSers Fan Club account. On January 21 Shelton will make his first appearance on Chelsea Lately, airing on E! television network 11:30pm Eastern and January 22 finds him performing “She Wouldn’t Be Gone” on Jimmy Kimmel Live, airing on ABC 12:05am Eastern.
In the same week as Blake Shelton releases his fifth studio album, Startin’ Fires, People Magazine has announced him as one of 2008’s “Sexiest Men Alive” in their annual “Sexiest Men Alive” issue. People Magazine’s “Sexiest Men Alive” issue hits stands this Friday, Nov. 21.
Shelton says about his appeal in the issue, “A well worn truck. The wussiest thing a guy can do is drive a clean truck. Dents, scratches and mud – that’s manly.”
Blake Shelton’s video for his current single, “She Wouldn’t Be Gone,” debuts in the #1 slot on GAC’s Top 20 Country Countdown that airs this evening at 8pm ET/7pm CT. Though Shelton has had numerous videos on top of the chart this is the first time his video has debuted in that position. “She Wouldn’t Be Gone” was directed by Scott Speer of Picture Vision.

Blake Shelton recently made a stop by NBC’s Today Show in what would mark his first official appearance on the morning show. Shelton talked about his No. 1 single “Home,” touring and his recent appearance as one of People Magazine’s “Summer’s Hottest Bachelors.”
