Faith Hill, Billy Ray Cyrus and Miley Cyrus have been added to the list of performers appearing at events surrounding next week's inauguration of Barack Obama as president. Billy Ray and Miley Cyrus will perform during Kids' Inaugural: We Are the Future, a TV concert special honoring military families, airing Monday (Jan. 19) at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the Disney Channel. The event will also feature the Jonas Brothers, actress-singer Demi Lovato, Bow Wow, Keke Palmer, Usher and Shaquille O'Neal.

Faith says, quote, "Who has time to slow down? I intend to be back better and stronger." Faith's also slated to sing at the MusiCares tribute to Aretha Franklin in Los Angeles on February 8th.
There wasn’t much soul-searching going on when “Pollstar” gave Tim McGraw and Faith Hill the "Major Tour Of the Year award" last Thursday night. The award went to the couple’s “Soul2Soul II” tour during the magazine’s 18th annual “Pollstar” Concert Industry Awards. Garth Brooks is the only other country artist to win that award – he received it in 1991 and 1993. McGraw and Hill have a chance to match Brooks’ record of two years in a row. They head out on this year’s “Soul2Soul 2007” concert tour, which is scheduled to begin in June.
FAITH HILL and TIM MCGRAW's Soul 2 Soul II outing has been named country's top-grossing tour for 2006 by Billboard magazine, raking in just under 89 million dollars over 72 shows. The tour placed fifth, behind acts such as the ROLLING STONES, MADONNA, BON JOVI and U2. KENNY CHESNEY's The Road and The Radio tour comes in as the second highest-grossing country tour of the year, with 66 million dollars in tickets sales. Kenny's tour actually sold more tickets than Tim & Faith's, but Kenny kept his ticket prices a little lower.
