With a promise to fill hearts and phones with the joyous sounds of Faith this season, Thumbplay launches Faith Hill’s exclusive holiday ringtone, “O Holy Night.“ The song is from her critically-acclaimed new album, Joy to the World, Faith Hill’s first holiday collection.

Nominations for the 51st Annual GRAMMY® Awards were announced December 3 by The Recording Academy® and both Randy Travis and James Otto came away with four nominations.

Randy Travis received a Grammy Award nomination in the Best Country Album category for his first Country music album in eight years, Around The Bend. In addition, songwriters Ashley Gorley and Bob Regan were nominated in the Best Country Song category for Travis’ “Dig Two Graves” from the same album.

Nashville, TN- Warner Bros. Records Artist James Otto received his first two Grammy Award nominations last night in the Best Male Country Vocal Performance Category for “Just Got Started Lovin’ You” from his debut album Sunset Man and as songwriter in the Best Country Song Category for his contribution on Jamey Johnson’s “In Color.”

JAMES OTTO tops Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart for all of 2008 with "Just Got Started Loving You." Coming in at number two is GEORGE STRAIT with "I Saw God Today," and ALAN JACKSON's "Small Town Southern Man" is at number three. The chart year runs from December 1st, 2007 through November 29th, 2008.

The Raconteurs, a Nashville-based rock band featuring Jack White of the White Stripes, has rerecorded its new single, "Old Enough," as a bluegrass song featuring Ricky Skaggs and Ashley Monroe. "We wanted to show a different side of the band and work with a few local artists we highly respect," said the Raconteurs' Patrick Keeler. "Ricky is a legend, plain and simple, and one of the best players around. Ashley Monroe is a young, rising star with an angelic voice." The single will be released digitally exclusively through Amazon on Dec.

In the same week as Blake Shelton releases his fifth studio album, Startin’ Fires, People Magazine has announced him as one of 2008’s “Sexiest Men Alive” in their annual “Sexiest Men Alive” issue. People Magazine’s “Sexiest Men Alive” issue hits stands this Friday, Nov. 21.

Shelton says about his appeal in the issue, “A well worn truck. The wussiest thing a guy can do is drive a clean truck. Dents, scratches and mud – that’s manly.”

Faith Hill is set to hit New York City in support of her recently released Christmas album Joy to the World. The 11-song recording, released on Warner Bros. Records, was two years in the making, and features such classics as “Holly Jolly Christmas,” “O Holy Night,” and the album’s current single “A Baby Changes Everything.”

In true Larry The Cable Guy fashion, the comedian once again will relinquish his Christmas traditions on America when Jack Records/ Warner Bros. Records releases Larry The Cable Guy’s Star-Studded Christmas Extravaganza Tuesday, Nov. 25. The second annual Christmas special, taped at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville will also premiere tonight on CMT at 9:00 PM ET/PT and will re-air throughout the holiday season.
