Warner Bros. Records Artist James Otto was definitely thinking "These Are The Good Ole Days" last night when he won an Academy Of Country Music Award in the Song Of The Year category as co-songwriter for Jamey Johnson's "In Color." Otto co-wrote the single with Johnson and Lee Thomas Miller. The award marks the first ACM award for Otto. After their ACM win, Otto went out with the fans to watch Johnson perform their award winning song, “In Color.”

Warner Bros. Records artist John Rich will premiere the video for his hit single, “Shuttin Detroit Down” exclusively on “Entertainment Tonight” on Friday, April 3**. Overwhelming Demand By Fans Gives Label Pressure To Switch Courses And Move-Up Date For Solo Album Release To March 24

Sometimes it's not the artists or record labels who decide which songs to release as singles -- sometimes it's the fans! Case in point: the brand-new, runaway hit from John Rich, 'Shuttin' Detroit Down.'

Rich wrote 'Detroit' just about two weeks ago, inspired by those who've lost their jobs in today's tough economy. "They're out there losing millions / And it's up to me and you / To come running to the rescue / We'll pardon me if I don't shed a tear / They're selling make believe and we don't buy that here / 'Cause in the real world, they're shutting Detroit down."

Does Carrie Underwood's current single "I Told You So" sound familiar? It should! Randy originally penned and recorded "I Told You So" for his second album, Always & Forever, which also included the signature hit, "Forever And Ever, Amen," released in 1987. The song reached Number One on the Billboard Hot Country Charts. "I Told You So" earned Randy an American Music Award for Favorite Country Single in 1989.
