James Otto’s Big Voice Lands Him Big Sales For His Debut Album on Warner Bros. Records

“The biggest voice in country music,” James Otto, scored big numbers for his debut album on Warner Bros. Records, Sunset Man, today. Otto sold 57,585 units, making him No. 3 on the Billboard 200 chart. This is Otto’s first album of his career to hit in the Top 5 on the charts.

Otto’s first single off of the album, “Just Got Started Lovin’ You” is No. 3 on both R&R and Mediabase charts. The single, has sold over 120,000 downloads on iTunes to date. The single also had over 290,000 downloads/shares overall, making it No. 2 on Big Champagne’s country chart.

John Rich to Release Solo Project on Warner Bros. Records

It was announced today that John Rich will release a solo project on Warner Bros. Records. Rich’s solo album will be released in 2008.

“If anyone knows me, they know I’m always writing music,” said Rich. “When we decided to take this year off so Kenny could focus on rehabilitation for a pre-existing injury, I asked Kenny if he was cool with me recording a solo project. I would only do this with Kenny’s blessing. So, this year you can expect a solo record from me, but Big & Rich will be back in 2009!”
