The Down Home Crew really came through for Cole Swindell on Sunday night at The Academy of Country Music Awards.
The Warner Bros. Records recording artist won New Artist of the Year during the CBS broadcast at AT&T Stadium. The award is one of two determined in part by the fans, who turned out big time for Swindell.
The Academy of Country Music and Great American Country (GAC) announced today the newcomer categories for New Artist of the Year Award, nominating Hunter Hayes as New Male Vocalist of the Year and Jana Kramer as New Female Vocalist of the Year!
Country music’s breakthrough artist, Hunter Hayes, brought home the 2012 CMA Award for New Artist of the Year at last night’s CMA Awards, marking his first ever CMA Awards win. Along with the exciting first win, Hunter also performed his No. 1 Platinum hit single “Wanted” to fans and supporters.
