Warner Music Nashville recording artist Chris Janson isn’t “Done” with “Good Vibes” – not by a longshot. The upbeat entertainer known for his “infectious” (Billboard) energy continues to spread positivity everywhere he goes, as evidenced by a powerful moment with a fan at his concert in Bel Air, Maryland at the APG Federal Credit Union Arena last Saturday night.

“What an inspirational night we had in Maryland on Saturday,” Janson reflected. “I am out on the road performing for those special moments with people whose souls have been touched by music and, quite honestly, those moments are the highlights of my career. When I saw all the signs for our song ‘Hawaii On Me’ and a group of people wearing Hawaiian leis, it was clear to me why they were there.”

Janson invited a special fan to the front of the venue and, upon learning that she had stage IV cancer, sang “Hawaii On Me” and an additional song – “Everybody’s Going Through Something.” He went on to explain: “It’s so powerful to watch real life happen. ‘Hawaii On Me’ is a celebration of the life you’ve lived, and I was proud to fulfill her request by singing that song. The whole moment – having her family there to experience it too – was really moving. I always want try to be the ‘Good Vibes’ guy because, ultimately, that’s what it’s all about.”

The singer / songwriter, who has been on a mission to make the world a better place since the earliest days of his career, spent the last year doubling down on his efforts to give back. Over the holidays, he donated instruments to the drumline at his alma mater, Perryville High School, in Perryville, MO, replacing 20-year-old equipment. He also sponsors the Franklin High School fishing team and, alongside members of the team, personally handed out fishing rods to kids during the Leiper’s Fork Christmas Parade.

Janson continues to give back through the sales of his signature Bass Pro Shops ball cap. In partnership with Johnny Morris (CEO of Bass Pro Shops), the singer / songwriter donates the proceeds of the hat to three important conservation efforts: Tennessee Riverkeeper, Harpeth Watershed Conservancy and Tennessee Hunters for the Hungry. Tomorrow night Janson will take the stage at a special event celebrating the 10th anniversary of Riverkeeper hosted at his Warner Music Nashville label home (click HERE for more information).

The chart-topping artist shows the same kind of commitment to his fans and community that he does his music. His current single “Done” from his newest album Real Friends tells the story of when he first met his wife. Watch the song’s music video HERE. Catch Janson perform “Done” and other favorites, including recent No. 1 “Good Vibes” and the 2x Platinum smash “Buy Me A Boat,” on the road this weekend in Enid, OK and Clear Lake, IA.
