“Pictures” Premiering in 2018 at Regal Cinemas in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (November 13, 2017) – Five-time GRAMMY© nominee Hunter Hayes continues to find innovative ways to share music with his fans, this time creating a mini-movie set to roll out in three parts over the coming months. The series, titled “Pictures,” began with Forbes sharing Part 1 today and is set to his latest release “You Should Be Loved” ft. The Shadowboxers. Fans will have an opportunity to attend the movie’s premiere early next year at Regal Cinemas in Nashville featuring a panel with the actors, director and screenwriter and a live performance from Hayes himself.

“‘Pictures’ is a totally new experience for me,” Hayes told Forbes exclusively. “We’ve never done anything like this and I love how it takes you out of current reality and transports you to a different time and place entirely, where each song tells a piece of the story. With part one I’m only able to share the beginning, so I can’t wait for the fans to hear the new music and watch as the rest of the story is told along the way!”

A passionate and avid supporter of music education in schools and a man the Los Angeles Times has dubbed a "guitar-prodigy," Hayes also recently teamed up with Samsung Electronics America, Inc., gifting $100,000 to the CMA Foundation to help jumpstart a renovation project updating the music room at Nashville School of the Arts. Hayes also collaborate with students on each stage, inviting the talented teens to show off their musical skills as part of his band during performances both on campus and at the Grand Ole Opry’s 92nd Birthday Bash.

An ambassador for the school’s music program, the country star will not only be restoring their guitar lab but also creating a working recording studio thanks in large part to generous partners. Once the build is complete, Hayes, with help from the CMA Foundation, will implement a masterclass series, inviting fellow industry colleagues, artists and friends to mentor students in the music program.
