Get to Know the Artist as He Gets to Know Himself

in “Training Trea” Video Series

Fans are already learning what it means to be “Loved By A Country Boy,” how to “Get the Girl” and “What Feelin’ Good Feels Like” – now it’s time to figure out a little Dirt Road Dancin’ as quickly rising newcomer Trea Landon releases his first Warner Music Nashville EP, available digitally this Friday (pre-save HERE).  Dirt Road Dancin’ will feature the three previously shared songs as well as two new additions, including the project’s namesake. The singer / songwriter co-penned four of the tracks on the Scott Hendricks-produced EP.

Dirt Road Dancin’ is a pretty good sample of everything that makes me who I am,” said Landon. “It’s everything that makes a country boy, a country boy. Long drives, late nights, field parties and falling in love. I’m excited for fans to get to know me better and have fun doing it.”

The 26-year-old Georgia native is making a name for himself in Music City and beyond, having been named a MusicRow “Next Big Thing” and one of Sounds Like Nashville’s “20 New Country Artists to Watch in 2020.” He has already earned more than 30 million on-demand streams and “Loved By A Country Boy” charted on Spotify’s US Viral 50 within its first month of release. Country Now has noted that he’s “bound to steal every girl’s heart” while MusicRow has declared simply, “I think I hear stardom.”

This week also marks the first installment of Landon’s new video series “Training Trea” (watch the trailer HERE). Featuring guests including industry friends like Michael Ray and Nashville experts in everything from mixology to etiquette, the series gives fans a look at the artist behind the music. Visit his YouTube channel on Wednesday, February 26 to check out the premiere episode.

Already a seasoned road warrior, Landon toured last year with Riley Green, Jon Langston and more. Next the up-and-coming entertainer is due to take the big stage on Cole Swindell’s Down To Earth Tour, kicking off March 5 in Toledo, OH. Landon is also back at work writing that songs that tell tale of love, heartbreak, dirt roads and good times, with more new music due later this year.

ABOUT TREA LANDON

Some people sing country music and some people live it. Trea Landon does both. Born in Daisy, GA, the 26-year-old Warner Music Nashville recording artist was raised with a fishing pole in one hand and the keys to the pickup in the other. Equally at home on a four-wheeler as he is on a stage, this country boy translates his real-life experiences into music drenched with authenticity - telling tales of love, heartbreak, dirt roads and good times in a way that lets you know he’s lived all of it. With a lilting voice that lends itself to both stadium ready rockers and acoustic-backed love songs, Landon effortlessly combines a traditional tone with a modern edge. Citing fellow Georgia-natives The Peach Pickers as one of his major influences, Landon followed in their footsteps to Nashville in 2015 and landed a publishing deal within four weeks of his arrival. A major label deal with Warner Music Nashville followed just two years later, which he has since celebrated with the release of his debut tracks “Loved by a Country Boy,” “Get The Girl” and “What Feelin’ Good Feels Like.” Having already toured with the likes of Luke Combs, Riley Green and Craig Campbell, Landon will join labelmate Cole Swindell’s Down To Earth Tour in March.
