New Track “River’s Still Running” Available Now

“Ricky Skaggs on the vinyl, King James on the bible” – brothers Brad and Curtis Rempel of High Valley really did grow up on details such as those. Their new EP, aptly titled Grew Up On That, is due May 22 and shares universal themes from their unique upbringing. Beginning with its title track (listen HERE), the six-song project tells of childhood, family and love. See full track listing below.

High Valley is previewing the EP with the release of new song “River’s Still Running” that finds the country duo looking on the bright side of things (listen HERE). The up-tempo tune, which Brad penned alongside Randy Montana and Corey Crowder, offers an uplifting message during difficult times.

“When we wrote this song, we had no idea about the predicament we’d be in right now,” Brad said. “But it’s pretty true that if you can look outside and see the sun still shining, see the river still running… then you know it’s going to be ok. We just have to focus on little pieces of positivity every single day.” Curtis took to social media on Friday to connect with fans about “River’s Still Running” and more new music. Catch the conversation HERE.

Also available from the EP is the “heartwarming musical embrace” (Sounds Like Nashville) of “Your Mama” (listen HERE). Written by Ben West, Josh Miller, Troy Verges and Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard as a message from parent to child, the song pays tribute to the duo’s better halves. The official video, which stars the brothers as well as their wives and children, was directed by Emma Higgins and shot at Brad’s home outside of Nashville (watch HERE).

Their distinctive brand of positive-minded, bluegrass-infused country music has made High Valley a formidable duo across the globe. They have already earned 250 million streams across the US and their native Canada alone. Their 2016 debut album Dear Life produced fan favorite “Make You Mine” and Top 10 radio hit “She’s With Me,” both of which have been certified Gold. The brothers’ touring credits include dates with some of the format’s biggest superstars, from Shania Twain to Keith Urban. Visit https://www.highvalleymusic.com/ for more information.
