Warner Music Nashville recording artist Randall King continues to build on the theme of love in the neon glow with his brand new track “You In A Honky Tonk” (LISTEN HERE). Written by John King, Matt Rogers and Brandon Day, the Bart Butler and Ryan Gore-produced song finds King crooning a slow-and-sultry two stepper. Check out the lyric video HERE.

“You In A Honky Tonk” follows recent releases “Baby Do” (LISTEN HERE) and “Record High” (LISTEN HERE). Whiskey Riff raved about “Baby Do,” stating “King just keeps bringing the heat with his new releases, and this latest one is no different.” The steel guitar-soaked track “Record High,” released earlier this summer, claimed a MusicRow DisCovery Award and brought the outlet to say “this dude is a for-real country singer, and this rhythm-happy Texas honky tonker stakes a for-real claim to stardom.” Rolling Stone also tipped their hat to King, remarking “King sings it with delicious gusto, curling his voice around notes in impressive — but not flashy ways — and demonstrating why he’s a talented newcomer to watch.”

The Texas native wrapped up 2020 with the release of his major-label debut EP Leanna (LISTEN HERE). Named after his late sister who passed last year, the EP reflects on King’s personal struggles of early life between depression and OCD, as well as the obstacles he faced after the unexpected loss of his sister. Leanna follows five standalone track releases, including fan favorites “Hey Cowgirl” and “Takin’ It As It Comes,” which have all contributed to his 100+ million global career streams. King is currently bringing his live show to honkytonks across the country – for a list of tour dates and more info on King, please visit https://www.randallkingmusic.com/.

About Randall King:

One of country’s new crop of modern traditionalists, Warner Music Nashville artist Randall King grew up on the endless plains of West Texas – and his sound is steeped in their timeless beauty, both gritty and graceful at the same time. He grew up singing in the back of a ‘93 Chevy Suburban, mimicking the pure-country vocals of stars like Keith Whitley, George Strait, Alan Jackson and John Anderson and over the years became drawn to the electrifying energy of modern stars like Eric Church, Dierks Bentley and Jason Aldean. After years of hustling and a road-warrior’s diet of 150 shows each year, King produced and released the defiant 2016 EP, Another Bullet, then followed up with a 2018 self-titled album. Now produced by traditional torchbearers Bart Butler and Ryan Gore (Jon Pardi), King is bringing an organic, timeless sound to country’s mainstream – his string of recent track releases hone in on the bright honky-tonk textures that feature willowy steel guitars, twangy melody riffs and a dynamic vocal. With over 100+ million career streams to his name and more new music on the horizon, King is looking to the anywhere-and-everywhere future with music that captures the essence of a Western poet who’s never been afraid to be himself.
