Warner Music Nashville up-and-coming country band BEXAR are back with more new music today, releasing their second major-label track, “One Day” (LISTEN HERE). Written by the band’s Chris Ryan and Logan Turner alongside Ross Copperman and Josh Osborne, the inspirational and upbeat tune encourages listeners to live in the moment and not put off goals and dreams, making “today, day one day.” Directed by Sophia Matinazad, the anthemic song’s official music video is also available now on YouTube (WATCH HERE).

“We hope everyone who hears this song feels the same way we did when we wrote it,” said the band. “It’s all about loving life and seizing the moment. Money isn’t the only thing that makes you rich.”

“One Day” follows their major-label debut, “Again” (LISTEN HERE). Co-written by award-winning producer Ross Copperman, “Again” centers on the notion that even if they could do life over, they’d do it all the same (WATCH MUSIC VIDEO HERE). Billboard raved about the track, praising its “serious earworm potential,” with MusicRow describing their sound as “terrifically accomplished, acoustic yet thumping, polished yet earthy,” exclaiming “please put this on your playlist at once.” The first music released from their time spent in the studio with Copperman (Keith Urban, Brett Eldredge, Dierks Bentley), both tracks showcase BEXAR’s fresh and expressive sound.

With a combination of Kentucky bluegrass and Texas country, the band draws inspiration from groups such as Mumford & Sons, The Avett Brothers and Avicii and reintroduces country to the pop potential of wooden instruments and organic soul. Having first met during CMA Fest at a writing session in historic East Nashville, BEXAR, comprised of Chris Ryan (lead vocals/guitar) and Logan Turner (vocals/banjo/guitar), gets its name from Bexar County, TX, where Ryan spent much of his childhood. Since their 2018 self-released EP, the band has accumulated over 30 million streams to date, has been named to Sounds Like Nashville’s 2021 Artists To Watch list and will continue to release brand new music throughout the year.
